To use Rankstone, you will connect using your Google account (OAuth). Through this process, we receive basic profile information from Google to create and manage your Rankstone account, which typically includes:

  • Your Email Address
  • Your Google Profile Picture

Your email address is used for account administration, security notifications, and other essential service-related communications.

b. Information from Connected Third-Party Platforms

The core feature of Rankstone is connecting your various online accounts to display verified information on your public profile. When you choose to connect a third-party platform (such as Discord, Epic Games, GitHub, Spotify, Steam, etc.), we request specific information from that service.

The Principle of Transparency: Before you authorize any connection, the third-party service will present you with a consent screen. This screen details the specific data and permissions Rankstone is requesting. We only collect the data you explicitly authorize through this process.

The types of data we request generally fall into these categories:

  • Public Profile Information: Such as your username, display name, user ID, and avatar/profile picture.
  • Account Statistics and Achievements: Such as your follower/subscriber counts, public repository stars (on GitHub), or game achievements (on Steam).
  • Activity and Status Information: Such as your online status (on Discord) or public activity metrics.

We do not receive or store the passwords for your third-party accounts.

c. User-Generated Content

You can choose to provide additional content for your public profile, such as a written biography or uploaded 3D models. This information is processed to display it on your public profile as you direct.

d. Usage Data, Cookies, and Analytics

When you visit our Site, we automatically collect technical information to ensure the security, functionality, and improvement of our Services. This includes Log Data (IP address, browser type), essential Cookies, and Analytics data from services like Cloudflare and Google Analytics.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data. We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active and delete it upon account deletion, retaining only what is necessary for legal compliance or fraud prevention.

To use our Services, you must be at least 14 years of age. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, you must have your parent's or legal guardian's permission to use the Services.

10. Platform-Specific Disclosures

Epic Games: When you connect your Epic Games account, we may collect your display name, account ID, and statistics related to your game ownership and achievements, as authorized by you. This information is used solely for display on your Rankstone profile. Rankstone is not endorsed by or affiliated with Epic Games.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
